Dragonkind retry timer and backup help
Will this timer notify me in the background?
The webpage displays the countdown while you use it. Download the calendar reminder and import it into a calendar app if you want an alert outside the page. The file contains the calculated time; the app decides whether and when an alert appears. Calendar permission and notification settings are controlled there. This Dragonkind retry timer does not request browser notifications or run a background alarm service.
What if a calendar download does not start?
Expand “Calendar download did not start?” to see the generated calendar text. Copy it into a plain-text file named dragonkind-retry.ics, then import that file into your calendar application. Check the event’s displayed date and local time after import. The file describes an instant using standard calendar formatting; how an app displays or reminds you about it depends on that app. Do not assume a successful file download means an alert has already been scheduled.
How do I move the journal to another device?
Export JSON and retain the downloaded file, or expand the text backup and use Copy backup. In the destination browser, open the same retry journal and import the file or paste its saved text into the restore box. The journal validates its own backup format and merges entries by ID. Reimporting the same backup should not create another copy of every note. Existing entries with the same ID take precedence; edit the record here if it needs a correction.
What happens when I reach the record limit?
The journal keeps the newest 200 valid entries. If you want a longer private archive, export regularly and keep dated backup files before adding more attempts. An import does not turn this browser into a server archive. The one-megabyte import limit also means a file from an unrelated application or a large public discussion is not a suitable backup. Keep your original export if an import fails, then check that it is a journal backup rather than ordinary notes.
Which clear button should I use?
Clear timer removes the stored next-attempt time. Clear records removes the journal entries after confirmation. Delete this attempt removes the selected record. These actions affect different data; none cancels or resets your official game account. Save a backup before deleting notes you want to retain. Clearing all browser site data can also remove a card profile and the scenery preference, so use the specific control when you only want to reset one tool.
Can the Dragonkind retry timer shorten the official wait?
No. It performs a local calculation from your input. The game’s display remains the authority for whether you can begin another attempt. If the reminder has elapsed but the official game still shows a wait, check that your input was current, the time zone was correct and the date was the one intended. Update the reminder to match the current screen instead of treating a calculated time as an override.
Where are my notes stored?
The journal and timer stay in the browser where you save them. A different browser, profile, device or private session has separate storage. There is no account login here that can recover a lost local log. Export before switching. The tools can still calculate and draw in browsers that restrict saving, but you should check any displayed storage-error message and keep a backup of information you care about.
What should I open while waiting?
Compare the Dragonkind route reports if you want to understand your last encounter, or use the Threshing Day reading-order selector if you are reading alongside the game. Keep a route report’s uncertainty beside the next-attempt plan. The point of a saved log is to observe your own run more clearly, not to turn another player’s success into a guaranteed result.
