Use the Dragonkind Threshing Day game guide for a first run

If you are new, begin with the login and attempt checklist. If the scene is already on your screen, search its distinctive details instead: where the dragon landed, whether you are with another cadet, and whether this is the initial encounter or the final test. A reported safe response to a brown dragon behind you is not automatically advice for a brown dragon in front of a squadmate. After a failure, retain those details in the journal before they fade from memory.

When to read Threshing Day

Start with Fourth Wing if you want to avoid later-series spoilers.

The publisher recommends Threshing Day after Onyx Storm. Choose your reading progress for a specific next step.

Your reading progress changes the advice

If you have not finished Fourth Wing, read that main novel first when avoiding spoilers matters to you. If you have finished Fourth Wing but not Iron Flame, the cautious next step is Iron Flame. If you have finished Iron Flame, continue with Onyx Storm before this collection. Readers caught up through Onyx Storm can move to Threshing Day with the edition’s chapter notices in mind. These are reading recommendations; the book is also marketed as an introduction for readers willing to encounter spoilers.

Publisher’s reading recommendation ↗

The complete Threshing Day book guide keeps the reading sequence, featured perspectives and edition comparison together. You do not need to open a plot summary to decide which format or reading order suits you.

Threshing Day book or Threshing Day game?

The collection revisits the moment of choosing

The Threshing Day book is a thirteen-story companion collection. The official collection site distinguishes it from a continuation after Onyx Storm. A search for “Threshing Day” can therefore bring together readers seeking a book and players seeking an interactive experience. Check the destination before entering an email address or buying a product: the reading guide explains the collection; the Dragonkind game handles your candidate and choices.

Official collection description ↗

The Dragonkind game is where you make choices

Use the official Dragonkind entrance for gameplay and your account. Here you can compare a reported scene with the moment in front of you, save your route in a private journal, and turn your result into a keepsake. The tools do not sign in to Dragonkind or change the game’s retry time. There is no practice replica of the official game on this site.

A useful companion should leave you with something

For a reading question, leave with a recommended next book or a format comparison. For a scene question, leave with the matching encounter and its reported outcomes. After death, leave with a local retry time and a saved attempt. After bonding, leave with a downloadable image. Pick the task you came for; you can read the wider guides when that task is finished.

How to use Threshing Day game answers

Match the encounter before following a report

Search a distinctive phrase such as “two green” rather than only “dragon.” The finder on this page checks every word in your query. A selected record names the encounter and distinguishes official guidance from community experience. For a longer comparison, open the Dragonkind answers and route comparison. A report from a different branch can sound familiar while describing a different decision.

You choose whether to see route spoilers

Choosing a search result does not immediately reveal a reported route. The reveal button opens the choice information; hide it again when you want to return to a spoiler-free summary. Sharing a record link preserves that choice for the next reader. The static notes on the answers page also use expandable sections, so someone reading without JavaScript can decide whether to open them.

Keep a failed attempt instead of repeating from memory

The Dragonkind retry journal stores the scene, choices and outcome you write down. Name the branch, then list your actions in order. If a later attempt with the same written choices has a different result, both notes remain available. The journal can identify differences in your notes; it cannot infer an unseen game rule from them. Export a backup before moving to a different browser.

From a Threshing Day game result to a dragon card

Capture the result before designing the card

Keep a screenshot or written copy of the name, color, tail and other fields displayed by Dragonkind. A screenshot can help you correct spelling later. Leave fields blank if you did not receive them. Your own attempt count belongs to your route log; do not replace it with a number from a community post. The result-field guide explains how to keep a dragon profile without guessing at lineage meanings.

Make something you can actually keep

The Dragonkind dragon card maker updates a local preview as you type. Choose a palette, enter the fields you want to share and download a 1000 × 1400 PNG. Saving a browser profile is optional. The ornamental dragon crest is original fan artwork and the card identifies itself as unofficial. You choose where to share the finished image; creating it does not add your details to a public gallery.

Return when the official wait has passed

The timer calculates from the duration or exact time you enter, using your browser’s local time zone. It is useful for a Threshing Day game attempt because the official wait and your own schedule may be in different formats. A calendar file can carry the time into your calendar app. The app, rather than this webpage, controls alerts. Check the game again before treating a calculated reminder as permission to restart.

More Threshing Day questions

Is Threshing Day the fourth main novel?

The collection is presented as a companion, not the continuation of the main story after Onyx Storm. Use the book guide to distinguish the collection from a numbered sequel. The reading order recommendation does not change what kind of book it is.

Which Threshing Day audiobook should I choose?

Two English audio productions are listed: Wing and Claw Collection from Recorded Books, and GraphicAudio’s Dramatized Adaptation with music and sound effects. They have different performers and release information. Compare the audio and edition table before choosing; a matching cover or a “full cast” label alone does not tell you which production is in your cart.

Do I need an account for these tools?

No account is required for the scene finder, local retry journal or card maker. Saved notes stay in this browser on this device. To move your attempts to another browser, export them from the journal and import the backup there. Keep a backup before clearing browsing data. The privacy notice explains what is saved.
