An original, spoiler-free fan quiz with six illustrated dragon archetypes. Here is a small kit for introducing it to your readers.

A short introduction you can adapt

The Choosing is a free, unofficial Fourth Wing fan quiz from Threshing Day Guide. Twelve original situations lead to one of six dragon archetypes, with a shareable result link and a downloadable illustrated card. No account or name is required, and there are no character or plot spoilers.

This is suggested copy, not a required description. Adapt it to your audience and editorial judgment. Please make the entertainment nature clear; the quiz does not assign an official Dragonkind dragon or reveal a canonical rider.

Permission for these materials

We grant permission to reproduce the six original quiz cards, their six landscape previews, the overview image, and the short introduction on this page in editorial articles, book-club materials, and fan resource lists introducing this quiz. You may resize them proportionally. Keep the unofficial notice legible and do not present them as official artwork or game certificates. Credit to “Threshing Day Guide” is appreciated.

This limited permission applies only to the materials named here, not other site illustrations, official brands, book text, or game assets. No payment, required backlink, specific anchor text, or link exchange is a condition of using this kit. For other uses, contact support@threshingday.org. The site terms cover other uses of the companion.

A simple book-club activity

  1. Let everyone take the quiz individually, without discussing answers first.
  2. Ask each person to share one strength that feels familiar and one that does not.
  3. Pair different archetypes and discuss how their strengths could help each other.
  4. If members want to post a card, let them choose their own platform and audience. Participation and sharing are optional.

The activity uses original situations and does not require spoilers. Results are prompts for discussion, not labels to apply to other people.

Useful links to reference

For a general recommendation, the clean quiz homepage is the easiest starting point. For a discussion of scoring or privacy, link the method page. An individual result URL is useful when your article discusses that portrait. You decide whether to link, what wording fits, and which link attributes match your publishing policy.

We do not offer forced-link embeds or require promotional wording. Downloaded pictures help readers recognize the source; an image alone is not the same as a clickable reference.

Questions and corrections
